Renting an Apartment in Logan Square
What You Should Know
Logan Square is a name given to the area in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania that lies north Market Street, south of Spring Garden Street, west of Broad Street, and east of the Schuylkill River. This contains the Franklintown neighborhood. It also contains Penn Center and much of Philadelphia's Central Business District. It is named for Logan Circle, which was at one time known as Logan Square.
Franklintown is the name given to the area in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania that lies north of the Vine Street Expressway, south of Spring Garden Street, and west of Broad Street. It is sometimes considered to be the southernmost part of the Fairmount or Spring Garden neighborhoods. Franklintown consists of mostly newer high-rise and mid-rise structures with large parking lots. This contrasts with the neighborhoods north of Spring Garden, which are mostly densely-packed historic row-houses. Community College of Philadelphia is located in Franklintown.
